It is not possible to optimize your website for search engines without following a wide range of parameters that allow you to identify the rank of your site relative to its competitors and determine if your online presence is sufficiently visible for your potential customers.
Such a metric is the domain authority(the authoritative domain). But what does the term mean? What are the factors taken into account and how does it influence your SEO? If you have a professional website or blog and want to know if Google performs well against other websites, this article is for you.
What is a Domain Authority?
The Domain Authority, or DA, is calculated by evaluating the number of backlinks to a site, the total number of backlinks, MozRank, MozTrust, and other related factors. This number can be used to compare websites and track site change history over some time.
You can view the credentials of each domain using the MozBar extension in the Chrome browser, the Open Site Explorer tool on the Moz site, and other extensions and tools available on the Internet.

How is Domain Attribute Score Calculated?
The authorization domain or domain validation of each site is based on a logarithmic formula with outputs ranging from 1 to 100. Factors affecting the output number of this formula are MozRank, MozTrust, and many other factors that are currently unknown. The logarithmic property of this formula makes it much easier to increase at low values. For example, increasing the authoritative domain from 10 to 20 is much easier than 80 to 90.
How good is an authoritative domain?
Generally, sites like Wikipedia and Google, which are among the largest sites in the world, have 100’s of domain authorization. On the other hand, small business sites do not yet have backlinks and are in the beginning, with an Attribute 1 domain.
This tool is one of the best tools for comparing sites with each other because of how to calculate the authoritative domain and its related factors, and you can predict the approximate ranking of sites using this number. The advantage of this tool is its comparability and output are not just good or bad descriptive terms.
Comparison of Attribute Domain and Page
The authoritative domain is the rating given to the entire domain, while the authoring page or page credential is the rating that is given to the power of each page of a site.
Where can we see the Domain Authorization?
Domain authoritative is used and displayed on many online tools and platforms on the web. On the Moz system, you can view the site using the Open Site Explorer page, the free MozBar Chrome extension, and the Keyword Explorer page.
Technical Definition of Domain Authorization or Domain Validity
The attribute domain is calculated based on Mozscape’s collected and indexed data, which is the Moz Monitoring Robot. Besides, the parameters of the number of links, MozRank, MozTrust, and almost 40 other parameters are included in the calculation. Authentic domain computation uses an artificial intelligence model to find the best algorithm that links Mozscape data to site rankings in search results.some of important parameters are as below:
– Age of the domain
– Number of external backlinks domain authority checker
– Number of links Dofollow and Nofollow
– Quality and authority of these backlinks
– Types of referral domains (GOV, EDU, COM, NET, ORG, etc.)
– Reference number of domains links
– Number of IP addresses and subnets reference links
– Moz Spam Score is taken into consideration
While MozRank indicates the popularity of the links and the number of links, the number of domains that link to your site, the Domain Attribute and Page Attribute show the rank of your site.
Since domain authoring is based on an artificial intelligence model, site ratings often fluctuate with the release of a new version of Mozscape. So keep in mind that using an authoritative domain is a relative comparison of sites, and that number may not represent the absolute amount of effort you put into your site’s SEO. In other words, don’t expect this number to continue to increase with the SEO of the site.
How to influence domain authoring?
It is difficult to influence the authoritative domain directly. This is the result of the influence of other variables such as MozRank, MozTrust, number of links and other factors. This number can estimate the amount of competition your site has for Google search results. Since Google considers many factors, if a standard wants to calculate it, it has to include many factors in its algorithm.
The best way to influence domain authoring is to upgrade your site. You should pay particular attention to your backlinks, which is also very effective on Mozrank and Moztrust.

Why is the Domain Authorization Site constantly changing?
Because domain authoring and page authoring are a set of factors, it is difficult to find the exact cause of any change. If your site’s rating is increasing or decreasing, one of the following factors is likely to be involved:
- Backlinks to your site have grown a lot lately, but have not yet been seen by Mozscape monitoring robots. You may be waiting for several updates for Mozscape to see your backlinks.
- Sites with high authorization will have a lot of links to increase, and this will also affect your authorship domain, given the relative authority.
- You have received backlinks from sites that have nothing to do with Google ranking.
- Increase or decrease the number of backlinks after monitoring Mozscape robots.
- The authoritative domain of your site is at the bottom of an estimate and therefore a unit has been reduced in the number rendering process.
The key to understanding the concept of fluctuations in the domain of Attribute and Page Attribute fluctuations is that these variables are not in a fixed form. Many positive and negative factors affect them. Therefore, even if the SEO site is upgraded, there is no reason to increase the site’s authenticity. A site’s authorship does not always indicate an improvement in the site’s SEO. Consider the following example.
If Singapore has had the best climate in the world and its emissions have been declining for two consecutive years, is there a guarantee that it will be in the first place after two years? Likely, the countries after that have significantly reduced their pollutants in the past two years, reaching the top rankings, and even reaching the tenth place in Singapore. Singapore’s ratings, though moving in a positive direction, have declined because of other factors that affect this ranking.
The same is true of the authoritative domain and the authorial page. While the number of links and their quality for a site may have improved over a while, competitors are more likely than you to be and your domain name will not change or even decline. This is due to the nature of the relative systems. Again, we note that the value of authorship is not a relative scale and is not calculated in absolute terms.
How to check domain authority?
To check the domain authority of a website, at the first you must choose one or two domain authority checkers by the search on the Search engines. So with simply enter the URL into the input box of each tool and click go fetch. You’ll then be able to see your score in the DA column. Totaly the domain authority checker tools are free to use and work in all browsers including Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari. You can also check the page authority of the page with those tools and normally all of the tools export the results all output data to Excel.
Conclusion
Domain authority happens to be the one that most often seems to be wrongly considered as a real measure of Google, at least from my experience.
do you want to know what is Domain Authority? DA is the way Moz tells us how much a website should be ranked, on a scale of 0 to 100. The higher the DA, the better the chance to rank theoretically.
We use different metrics, and we have been using Moz metrics for years. The majority of our customers used Moz, so us too.
Now, most of them do not, for reasons that I do not know well, neither do we.
We use what makes the most sense to us after all. It has nothing to do with anything else.
